Neuromuscular Therapy

60 minutes: $80
90 minutes: $115
120 minutes: $150

Neuomuscular Therapy is a style of massage therapy focused on treating painful conditions that affect the soft tissues of the body. Because it is designed to treat medical conditions, it requires extensive training. It involves an in depth assessment of posture, client history, various kinds of range of motion, manual resistive testing and orthopedic testing. These techniques help pin-point which muscles or structures might be contributing to myofascial pain or dysfunction. The goal is to restore full health to the soft tissues of your body, both treating your specific conditions as well as improving your overall well-being.

Trigger Point Therapy

60 minutes: $80
90 minutes: $115
120 minutes: $150

Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing trigger points in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These knots are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress and can cause pain or weakness in your muscles. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques in order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.

Deep Tissue Massage

60 minutes: $80
90 minutes: $115
120 minutes: $150

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of cellular debris that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Myofascial Release

60 minutes: $80
90 minutes: $115
120 minutes: $150

Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain.

Sports Massage

90 minutes: $115
120 minutes: $150

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.

Acupressure

60 minutes: $80
90 minutes: $115
120 minutes: $150

Similar to acupuncture, acupressure is based on one the most ancient principles of healing - that simply touching a specific point on the body will release stress and improve health in the body. In an acupressure session, I apply firm pressure directly to these points on your body, which relieves your muscle tension and improves your circulation. This simple and powerful technique has been shown to very effective in treating headaches, backaches, and even insomnia.

Somatic Movement (SM)

Somatic movement uses a custom-tailored approach to improving your body awareness and movement skills. This practice inevitably leads to a stronger connection between the mind and body (nerves and muscles). Somatics is a wonderful addition to any session because it can help reduce myofascial pain by helping to correct posture and emphasize proper body mechanics.

Reflexology

90 minutes: $115
120 minutes: $150

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet or hands. Unlike other foot/hand massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet and hands themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet and/or hands. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.

Thai Massage

90 minutes: $150

Thai massage is an ancient form of massage which is more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. During Thai I use my hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches. No oil is applied, so you are fully dressed during the session. Comfortable loose clothing is recommended. A single Thai massage session will help you release stress and relieve pain, and help you function more effectively at work and home.

Shiatsu

90 minutes: $150

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of massage therapy. The word Shiatsu comes from two Japanese words - "shi" (finger) and "atsu" (pressure). In addition to the direct stimulation of pressure points along the energy pathways of your body, gentle stretching techniques are applied over a wider area of the body to integrate the point work and encourage the flow of Chi (energy) throughout the body. Shiatsu is a meditative healing art that honors the body, mind and spirit.
